I’m currently testing these services:
KuCoin (Cryptocurrency Exchange)
I’ve been testing the Kucoin exchange. It’s a blockchain asset exchange that was launched in 2017. Many people in the U.S. are now switching to this exchange, in place of Binance.
Binance will be closing its doors to U.S. traders in September, and they are said to be creating a new exchange designed for U.S. traders.
Shrimpy.IO
Shrimpy is a trading bot that will track assets on cryptocurrency exchanges. It is designed to simplify and automate trading. It promises to do portfolio re-balancing for a $8.99 monthly fee. Works with Binance, Bittrex, KuCoin, Kraken, Coinbase Pro and others.
Lightning Network
The Lightning Network promises low cost and very fast transfers of bitcoin. However, after testing, I’ve found it to be still in an alpha stage of development — i.e. still clunky and difficult to use. I do not recommend using it unless you are comfortable with using alpha software.
BlueWallet and Wall Of Satoshi Wallet
I’ve been testing the Lightning-ready Bluewallet. I don’t recommend this application. It is unreliable and produces misleading error messages. The Wall of Satoshi wallet is better but also rudimentary.
DAI (Stablecoin Fixed To $1 USD)
I’ve researching and testing the Dai (DAI) — a decentralized stablecoin. I review in this article.
Dai — a custom cryptocurrencies created on Ethereum. It’s a ERC20 token based on the ERC20 Token Standard. Currently, there are over 65,000 of ERC20 tokens in existence. Most have no market value. Here is a full list.
New Beta Of Trezor Wallet
The Beta Wallet is a new wallet developed for Trezor with native support for Ripple, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic and related tokens.
Cryptocurrency Price Charts
I recommend these charts/indexes:
- Coinranking (easy-to-read charts of cryptocurrency prices)
- CoinCheckup (a reliable price index of cryptocurrencies)
