Trezor is introducing the Safe 5 Bitcoin-only wallet. The Bitcoin-only edition is designed specifically for Bitcoin users. This makes the interface less complicated and reduces the device’s attack surface.
Here are the features of the Safe 5:
- A large 1.54″ color touchscreen with tactile feedback
- A scratch-free all-glass surface using Gorilla Glass 3
- It employs the EAL 6+ Secure Element along with PIN and passphrase protection
The Trezor Safe 5 is available for preorder at a retail price of USD 169. Shipping for preorders is expected to begin at the beginning of July 2024.
