A List Of Secure Crypto Wallets

Hardware Wallets (Most Secure)

These wallets are good for securing large amounts of cryptocurrency:

  • Trezor — a secure hardware wallet that be backed up with ColdTi (a Cryptocurrency Seed Plate) — can be used with MetaMask and Uniswap
  • Coldcard Wallet — for advanced users — a bitcoin-only hardware wallet made in Canada — your private key is stored in a dedicated security chip

Mobile Crypto Wallets (Reasonably Secure)

For holding smaller amounts of crypto, I recommend these private wallets for mobile devices:

  • Electrum Wallet — a Bitcoin wallet with an emphasis on autonomy and privacy — available for Mac OS, Linux, Windows, Android
  • Green Wallet by Blockstream — a private crypto wallet for iOS and Android

    1. Sorry, I don’t have an updated list.

On mobile devices, I use Muun (lightning and regular bitcoin on one wallet), and for deep storage, I use the Ledger wallet.
