Quick Answer
- Maple AI is a privacy-first AI assistant that now behaves more like a secure workspace than a simple chat box.
- Maple AI’s Private Projects keep long-running work organized without leaking any data.
- Pinned chats keep essential messages visible at the top of any space.
- Both features build a private AI workspace for research, client work, and creative projects.
Private Projects
Private Projects let you group related chats into themed folders, so your medical queries do not get mixed in with recipes and everyday queries. Each project is its own workspace, ideal for client files or long-term writing.
Every project has custom instructions that automatically apply to all chats inside it, so you can define your role, audience, tone in one set of instructions . You then don’t need repeat those instructions in every message.
Maple encrypts project names, instructions, and chats on your device and runs them inside Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs). This means even Maple’s engineers cannot read what you store there.
Pinned Chats
Pinned chats solve the “where did I put that info?” problem. When you pin a message, it stays at the top of the space, visible every time you open the room.
New AI Model
Maple offers new AI models like Gemma 4. This is an open-source model from Google released earlier this year.
