The Koodo Reader is a free open-source eBook reader. It’s available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and the web. Some people have expressed concern that the developers are Chinese, but nobody has found spyware in the applications. The GitHub repository is here.
Koodo Reader supports a variety of file formats, including EPUB, PDF, DRM-free Mobipocket and Kindle files, plain text, FictionBook, and comic book archives.
It offers features such as single-column, two-column, or continuous scrolling layouts, text-to-speech, translation, progress slider, touch screen support, and batch import. Users can also add bookmarks, notes, and highlights to their books, and adjust font size, font family, line spacing, paragraph spacing, background color, text color, margins, and brightness.
