The Proton is our favorite “end-to-end encrypted” product suite. It has received quite a few updates lately. Here are the details:
New Products
Proton Workspace – A new encrypted business suite designed to replace Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, offering team collaboration tools with zero-access encryption.
Proton Meet – New end-to-end encrypted video conferencing with no logs, open-source auditing, and no data collection, positioned as a privacy-focused alternative to Zoom/Teams.
Product Updates
Proton Mail Mobile Apps – Completely rebuilt iOS and Android apps launched featuring offline mode and smoother performance.
Proton Drive – Faster file transfers, improved mobile photo browsing, and core operations now running on the Drive SDK for better performance.
Proton Calendar – New secure appointment scheduling feature allowing users to share public booking pages for clients/colleagues to book meetings based on real availability.
Proton for Families – New focus on “Proton for Families” features, including the ability to reserve private, secure email addresses for children that remain sealed until they’re ready to use them.
